		11/30/2009 SCIP presentation by Dale Bratzler, DO MPH. Dr. Bratzler has published extensively and frequently presents locally and nationally on topics related to healthcare quality, particularly associated with improving care for pneumonia, increasing vaccination rates, and reducing surgical complications. He received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and his master of public health degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Public Health. Dr. Bratzler is board certified in internal medicine. This presentation reviews SCIP 9 specification measures, review SCIP 10 specification measures, review new changes to specification measures, and discuss future targets for improvement and measurement.
