Nursing Home Improvement and Feedback Tool
CMS released the first version of NHIFT (Nursing Home Improvement and Feedback Tool) in early 2006. This free software allows you to monitor your processes of care for the four 8th SOW focus measures: high-risk pressure ulcers, restraints, pain, and depression. For your convenience, we have posted our most popular NHIFT materials on our website. If you would like to download the NHIFT software directly or need further documentation, please visit www.qualitynet.org and look for the NHIFT page under the “Nursing Homes” menu.
