The South Dakota Foundation for Medical Care (SDFMC) is one of many agencies that serve Medicare beneficiaries. Most Medicare beneficiaries will need to call one of the agencies listed above at some time. Being prepared before your call can make telephone communication easier. If ever in doubt, do not hesitate to call SDFMC. If we cannot help you, we will try to get you to the agency that can.

We have identified the following organizations and web sites as useful ones for Medicare beneficiaries, their children or caregivers, and professionals who work with people enrolled in Medicare. By selecting any of the following links, you will be going to a site unaffiliated with us, and SDFMC is not responsible for the information you access there. Remember that it is always best to seek health-related information and treatment from your physician.
