The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services require each Quality Improvement Organization to publish an Annual Medical Services Review Report summarizing activities associated with beneficiary complaints and review of Hospital Issued Notices of Non-coverage (HINN). The 2007 Annual Medical Services Report for South Dakota Foundation for Medical Care can be viewed here in html format or can be downloaded from here in Acrobat pdf format.
NOTE: The report contains a section titled "Complaint Cases by Setting or Provider." This section contains a category titled "Other Provider." All the entries for "Other Provider" category pertained to discharges from critical access hospitals.
