This site provides home health agencies with quality improvement resources. Simply choose one of the links at the left to access these online home health agency resources, or if you need personal assistance, contact Darlene Steenholdt.
This site also provides consumers with a place to start when choosing home health care. Consumer Home Health Links contain resources that allow consumers to review the Home Health Care Initiative, compare home health agencies, and make home care decisions that fit their individual needs.
A recent regulatory addition pertaining to the review process is the Benefit Improvement and Protection Act (BIPA). This law permits Medicare beneficiary to request an appeal of non-coverage of service notices issued by hospices, home health agencies and nursing homes. Details on this new law, including sample non-coverage notices and protocols, can be found on the BIPA link.
