The South Dakota Foundation of Medical Care's mission is:
1. To endeavor to improve the quality of health of South Dakota citizens;
2. To encourage the use of cost-effective and appropriate health care services; and
3. To be an educational and data resource to patients, physicians, hospitals and payers in South Dakota.
